Excellent quality, timely shipping and good customer service. The hat was a little large, so my husband called the company and they immediately shipped out sizing tape, which we had in about 2 days. The hat was very well made---the fabric was of excellent quality and the color was true to what we saw in the pictures. I'm sure my husband will be wearing this hat for a long time to come.

It's an awesome hat, and my boyfriend loves it when I wear it with an "Indy Style" jacket, but I got the same damn hat at DISNEYLAND of all places for $50. And if it's cheaper at Disneyland, you know something's wrong with this picture.
And yes, mine came with a certificate of authenticity.

This is one great fedora, especially for Indiana Jones fans (nerds) like me. The fur felt feels great and sheds water remarkably well. It also looks great, no matter if you are bumming, casual, or dressed up. Like all hats, this thing will only get better with age. The more "Character" it gets, the better it will be. I'm sure the cheaper wool felt ones are okay, but the fur felt Indy is the only way to go.

This is a beautiful hat. A little pricy, but they had the XXL, which is very difficult to find. Would recommend this seller as they sent the hat right away during the busy Christmas season!

I bought this hat six years ago. It wasn't from Amazon but another company whose name rhymes with bats in the belfry. That would be neither here nor there, but you can save a little money, about 20 percent, if you go to this other vendor (I just checked).
Anyway, I wore this hat for 3-4 years, then stopped, then started wearing it again. Just today, as a matter of fact. First thing I walk out the apartment door and Rose spots the hat and tells me how wonderful it is and how much better it looks than all my other hats. Rose is 93. She used to be a professional ballroom dancer and probably dated the real Indiana Jones. And she's a lot sharper than people I know half her age.
Rose is from an era and the era has spoken. This hat is definitely one to get if you want a classy fedora. Beng able to showboat like Indy also helps, but remember that Harrison Ford exercised a lot of style sense when he got the original from a London hatter 30 years ago. The hat is great regardless of the movie.
If you're an astute shopper, you probably realize that there are much cheaper Indy-style hats that can be purchased.
Why not? There aren't overwhelmingly strong reasons to spend the additional money on this hat, but I can tell you why it costs more.
First, the name Indiana Jones has been licensed, which gives you a little more assurance that the hat is modeled exactly on the movie.
Also, the hat is made of fur pelt. This is nowhere near as pricey as beaver pelt (and honestly, you should leave the beavers alone), but it is definitely more expensive than wool-based felt or canvas safari hats. The fur in my opinion looks good and wears very well, but I would be hard pressed to justify the additional cost over good wool.
Last, the hat is lined. This really does make a difference in how the hat feels to me, since it seems a bit cooler with less heat build-up. It also makes a big difference in how the hat looks although only the hat check girl will know that you really are a gentleman and not a bum.
If you are into fine hats, then this really is one worth having. I think so. Rose agrees.
