Looks good, and doesn't cost much.Jan 25, 2007
By SilverOrange This hat is nicely proportioned. Some XXL hats look kind of goofy like a Wimpie hat from a Popeye cartoon, so it kind of looks silly, like the hat is the size of a hamburger on top of somebody's head. This hat doesn't do that -- it looks great. There is an Indiana Jones pin on the ribbon, but you can take it off, if you do it slowly. Be careful because the pin may have 2 little butterfly wing shaped prongs to it, not just one prong like a regular pin. My vote would be for the manufacturer to skip putting the Indiana Jones pin on the hat. The hat looks fine without it.
Excellent hat company. They ship you the hat fast, and it comes in a box with enough paper padding that the hat doesn't get crushed in the box. It's the kind of service you wish you got from every business on the web.

Indy's Chappeau...my permanent headress.Dec 29, 2006
By K. L. Olson My daughter bought a generic fedora for me 15 yrs ago and people started calling me Indiana Jones. I protested kindly pointing out that Mr. Fords' fedora was different...but couldn't explain how. So when I found a bona fide Indiana Jones hat (about 7 years ago) I bought it immediately. Now people comment correctly on Indy's Chapeau, though I took the Indiana Jones logo pin off. ...My intent isn't impesonation...I just like the hat. Now I have two hats: one was looking grungy so I got the other for occasions where it matters. The second one is getting grungy now too...so I need a third for those occasions. The testimonial is that I wear one or the other everywhere and get comliments mostly on appearance alone... not just on the similarity to Indys' lid.
Too bad the only hats in vogue now are baseball hats.
I love the hats and they hold up well to being sat on; blowing off my head; being stepped on and they clean-up well too (I'm not very good about that...I wouldn't need a second and third hat if I would resort to maintenance.)
I recommend these at the under $50 price I see no need or benefit to spending more...these lack for nothing.

Great GiftJan 11, 2007
By ROBERTA BROWN Ordered this for my husband and he just loves it. He likes it because the brim isn't as big as other hats that he had found like this.
This was a great place to order from.

Perfect Hat, Perfect Company, Perfect ShippingSep 19, 2007

This hat is amazing. It is surprisingly hard for what wool felt seems like. It has an Indiana Jones pin that kinda looks like a rifle from a distance. It also has a plastic lining on the top of the inside of the hat. After I ordered it I checked out the company. Amazing! Very profesional! If you'r not into the whole Indy look, but still want a good, strong hat, then go with these guys. They know how to make hats, caps, berets, and anything else you can think of. And the shiping was fast. I ordered it on Friday and got it the following Monday. That's pretty amazing since it had quite a long distance to travel. So, all in all its a great hat, great company, and fast shipping!

Looks just like the Indiana Jones hat. It seems to be a bit large but you can sneak a thicker ribbon under the inside binding to make it fit snug
